The Pre-Commerce Program (BA003) is a special program that provides a special pathway for students who have completed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) but do not meet the basic requirements to continue their studies at public universities. This program allows them to continue their education at UiTM through the Pre-Diploma program.
The Pre-Commerce Program (BA003) offers relevant courses as preparation for students to pursue a diploma at UiTM. Some of the courses offered are as follows:
a. Introduction to Accounting
b. Intensive Mathematics
c. English Proficiency For Pre-Diploma III
d. Introduction to Business
e. Introduction to Human Development
f. Study Skills
This program aims to provide opportunities for Bumiputera children to further their education to a higher level, even if they do not meet the basic requirements to continue their studies at public universities.
Passed SPM or its equivalent recognized by the Government of Malaysia with at least THREE (3) credits/passes, including Bahasa Melayu.
Passed Mathematics/Additional Mathematics.
Passed English.
Passed History.

Students are eligible for admission to the UiTM Diploma Program after passing pre commerce with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
There are several UiTM Diploma programs that can be applied for to further their studies, subject to the specific requirements of each program.

YBhg. Dr. Ruziah Binti Ghazali is a prominent leader in Malaysia’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, recognized with the Special Award for Master Coach in Education Development from TVETecoUSIM. She advocates for Islamic TVET and supports individuals with disabilities, contributing to the book “Nothing is Impossible – Success Stories of Persons with Disabilities.”
As a scholar and Islamic Woman Entrepreneur, she focuses on women’s and community development and was honored as Tokoh Saidatina Aishah during National Women’s Day in 2021.
Dr. Ruziah holds a PhD in Educational Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Science in Educational Science, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Islamic Studies from the University of Malaya. She is also a licensed Company Secretary and Tax Agent.
