Job Responsibilities

1. Create and maintain comprehensive risk management policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

2. Provide consultative support and recommendations for enhancing risk management processes to management and departments within KPBKL.

3. Develop and implement the risk management framework, including risk registration, evaluation, and monitoring of identified risks. Analyse risk alerts and performance metrics to identify risks that require corrective action.

4. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective risk management strategies, including control measures and contingency plans.

5. Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops to raise awareness of risk management principles and practices among employees, fostering a proactive risk management culture in the workplace.

6. Prepare and present risk management reports to top management, relevant committees, and Board members.

7. Collaborate with the Internal Audit team by providing necessary support during audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies aligned with risk management activities.

8. Perform any other tasks as assigned or required, based on instructions, as needed.

Minimum Qualification

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Science, Management, Business, Information Technology, Technical or a related field, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.

2. At least 1 (one) to 3 (three) years of relevant industry experience, which will be considered as an advantage.

3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to think creatively and critically. Must possess strong management skills, be committed to teamwork, analytical, flexible, proactive, and able to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and external agencies.

4. Proficiency in computer usage, specifically with Microsoft Office applications.

Dr. Ruziah Binti Ghazali is a prominent leader in Malaysia’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, recognized with the Special Award for Master Coach in Education Development from TVETecoUSIM. She advocates for Islamic TVET and supports individuals with disabilities, contributing to the book “Nothing is Impossible – Success Stories of Persons with Disabilities.”

As a scholar and Islamic Woman Entrepreneur, she focuses on women’s and community development and was honored as Tokoh Saidatina Aishah during National Women’s Day in 2021.

Dr. Ruziah holds a PhD in Educational Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Science in Educational Science, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Islamic Studies from the University of Malaya. She is also a licensed Company Secretary and Tax Agent.
