PUTRAJAYA – Baitulmal Professional College Kuala Lumpur (KPBKL) has contributed RM107,637.75 in business zakat to the Pusat Pungutan Zakat (PPZ) as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the underprivileged and ensuring that the zakat is appropriately distributed to the Asnaf community through PPZ.
KPBKL was represented by Tuan Haji Zuri Zabuddin bin Budiman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KPBKL, and Associate Professor Dr. Haji Mohammad Firdaus Low bin Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer of KPBKL.
The symbolic cheque for the business zakat was presented during the Charity Night “Kasih Allah dan Rasul,” part of the Year End Zakat (YEZ) Carnival, held at Precinct 3, Putrajaya on 30 November 2024.
The event was witnessed by YB Senator Dato’ Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Na’im bin Haji Mokhtar, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), alongside representatives from the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP).
