CSR Program Partnership Between KPBKL and Yayasan Wakaf Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR – Baitulmal Professional College Kuala Lumpur (KPBKL) and Yayasan Waqaf Malaysia (YWM) officially signed a Letter of Intent cooperation in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of corporate entities. This collaboration will provide KPBKL with support for upgrading its learning infrastructure and furthering the development of its students.

The signing ceremony was held during the Al-Falah MADANI Scholarship presentation, organized by Yayasan Waqaf Malaysia (YWM) at the Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre Hotel & Residences. KPBKL was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haji Mohammad Firdaus Low bin Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer, while YWM was represented by Dr. Ridzwan bin Bakar, Chief Executive Officer. The event was also witnessed by Tuan Haji Zuri Zabuddin Budiman, Chairman of KPBKL’s Board of Directors.

The ceremony was officiated by YB Senator Dato’ Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Na’im bin Haji Mokhtar, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs). His presence lent prestige to the event and emphasized the significance of advancing education through waqf funds and scholarships, especially for underprivileged students, including those from the B40 group.

YBhg. Dr. Ruziah Binti Ghazali is a prominent leader in Malaysia’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, recognized with the Special Award for Master Coach in Education Development from TVETecoUSIM. Dr. Ruziah holds a PhD in Educational Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Science in Educational Science, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Islamic Studies from the University of Malaya. She is also a licensed Company Secretary and Tax Agent.
